While Jumprize specializes in shore fishing, CEO Tomoki Inoue often takes to the open sea to conduct development tests, personally operating his own boat.
In spring and autumn, he fishes for yellowtail, amberjack, and greater amberjack in the outer and southern Boso Peninsula. In summer, he fishes for yellowfin tuna in Sagami Bay.
Offshore development tests and experience are definitely reflected in the development of his main business, shore tackle.
Five years ago, Inoue designed his own offshore casting rod in his private time.
After accumulating experience and repeatedly evolving the design, he finally completed an offshore casting rod that he was 100% satisfied with.
The construction is a 5:5 hybrid structure of low-modulus 15t prepreg and medium-modulus 24t prepreg.
The 15t provides the tenacity needed to lift under high load while applying significant pressure with the rod held at a 90-degree angle.
The blank, which mixes 24t to suppress wobble during casting and generate instantaneous rebound lifting power, offers
significant advantages.
After numerous prototypes and considering various usage scenarios, we have decided to release an 8.2-foot model with a SiC-S configuration.
