Carpenter UTAHIME 70-190 Lure Black / Gold (BKGD001MP)

Carpenter UTAHIME 70-190 (Black / Gold BKGD001MP)

The Carpenter UTAHIME 70-190 (Black / Gold BKGD001MP) is a premium Japanese-made topwater stickbait designed for highly technical offshore fishing. Built with Carpenter’s precision craftsmanship, it delivers subtle, natural surface action that is highly effective on pressured or selective pelagic predators.

Featuring a slim “damsel bait” profile, the UTAHIME produces a light water-push vibration and soft surface disturbance rather than aggressive popping. This refined action imitates small baitfish in distress, making it ideal when fish are feeding cautiously or ignoring fast-moving lures.

At 190mm length and approx. 68g body weight, it offers excellent casting stability and smooth swimming performance, allowing anglers to maintain control even in windy offshore conditions.

The Black / Gold (BKGD001MP) colorway provides a strong contrast profile—dark silhouette for depth visibility combined with gold flash for added attraction. This makes it especially effective in low light, deep bluewater, and rough sea conditions.

Unlike aggressive poppers or fast action pencils, the UTAHIME is designed for finesse-style topwater presentation, using slow sweeps, pauses, and controlled movements to trigger reaction bites from experienced predators.
