Carpenter Gamma y120-L, y140-L Lure Black & Purple (TU111MP)

Carpenter Gamma y120-L / y140-L (TU111MP Black & Purple)

The Carpenter Gamma y120-L / y140-L (TU111MP Black & Purple) is a premium Japanese-made floating stickbait engineered for extreme offshore fishing and targeting large pelagic predators. Built with Carpenter’s legendary precision, it is designed to deliver long casting distance, powerful swimming action, and exceptional stability in rough sea conditions.

The Gamma series is known for its high-impact surface action, producing a strong side-to-side glide combined with sharp directional changes that imitate a panicked baitfish. The L (Light/Low resistance) tuning of the y120-L and y140-L enhances responsiveness, allowing the lure to swim naturally even with lighter rod input, making it highly effective for technical topwater presentations.

In the Black & Purple (TU111MP) colorway, the lure excels in low-light and deep offshore conditions. The dark base creates a strong silhouette underwater, while the purple tones add subtle flash and contrast—perfect for triggering reaction strikes from cautious or deep-feeding predators.

With its heavy-duty construction and aerodynamic body design, the Gamma offers excellent casting performance even into wind, helping anglers reach distant feeding zones where big fish are holding.
