The BIG-TUNA series sets the power category to make the rod characteristics more visible.
Raising the example, even in models such as 86/710RT/73/76/70 with the same line max value, 73/76/70 was developed with more breaking strength to aim for the super-large class, 86・710RT is a different power category. The 86/710RT is a model that is active in situations where it is necessary to make a far-slow such as invitations and when it is necessary to make a smaller invitation.
Regarding 85F/87AS/83, it is also a model that is active for yellowfin tuna, and the feeling of 85F if the tuna size is less than 50kg, 87AS and 83 if it is less than 80kg is a guide for the large body.
Think comprehensively about the lure size you use, the line, the size of your tuna, the lure appeal you need, and choose your model.
In the rod design of the BIG-TUNA series, it is color-coded in a threaded color tailored to the power class below. The spacer on the reel seat of the grip is also engraved with the model name.
